Perinatal Center

  1. Participants will use the mnemonic “STABLE” to optimize learning, retention, and recall of the content areas specific to Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, and Lab Work as they pertain to the sick infant.
  2. Participants will review content surrounding the emotional crisis surrounding the birth of a sick infant and how to support families when an infant requires intensive care.
  3. Participants will discuss methods to improve patient safety and the importance of effective communication and teamwork.

**Students MUST complete the S.TA.B.L.E. Foundations course prior to attending the “in-person” instructor led 7th Edition S.T.A.B.L.E. course. Cost for this course is $54.00.

Criteria for Awarding Contact Hours:  Participants who successfully complete the entire and complete a post-text and an evaluation form will earn 7.75 contact hours.
