Perinatal Center

Target audience is registered nurses working OB, PP/MB, NB Nursery, Level 0, I, II, and IIE nurseries with clinical experience/tenure of 2 weeks.  RN must work in the IL Perinatal Network.

Course Objective: Be able to understand and describe fundamentals of newborn assessment and care as it
relates to a comprehensive review of body systems and conditions affecting the newborn.

  • Genitourinary

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited
approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91).

Criteria for successful completion for contact hours:
● Attendance for the entire presentation.
● Complete an evaluation form.
● 7.75contact hours will be awarded

duration of the class and my camera will be on.
● Please note if more than 15 minutes late to class
start time, you will not be able to enter the virtual
